Lynx Petite AA 2008 Ontario Champions
London Lynx Petite AA Ringette team went in as the No. 1 seed and lived up to its billing.
The team successfully tackled a harsh round-robin schedule -- winning six games in three days -- then dispatched Ajax-Pickering 5-3 in the title game.
Flying high under the banner of London Lynx Ringette, the girls captured our organization's first ever Petite AA crown and first in any AA division since our 1995 Belles.
The championship involved the top 10 seeds among 29 teams in the age group across Ontario.
The Petites earned their No. 1 ranking, winning four tournaments and building 24-0-1 record along the way.
As well, the team was 15-1-0 in WORL play.
The champs' roster includes Olivia Brook, Racheal Chadwick, Delaney Cosma, Elise Dedecker, Courtney Dowling, Kieley Forsey, Stefanie Genereaux, Jocelyn Goldhawk, Vanessa Johnston, Madison Page, Siobhan Stewart, Emma Van Lieshout and Maddie Vermeltfoort.
